QUIET SUN : Solar activity is low, but this could change with the emergence of triple-sunspot group AR1356. This morning in Brisbane, Australia, Dennis Simmons photographed the sunspot's three dark cores rotating over the northeastern limb:

Just a few days ago, while it was still on the farside of the sun, this active region erupted and hurled a bright CME toward Venus. Could Earth be next? NOAA forecasters estimate a 30% chance of M-flares during the next 24 hours, and this sunspot group is a likely source. Stay tuned. Solar flare alerts: text, phone.

    ไม่กี่วันที่ผ่านมา ขณะที่จุดดับนี้อยู่ตรงกันข้ามกับโลก กลุ่มจุดดับนี้ได้เกิดการระเบิดขึ้นมา และพุ่ง CME ที่สว่างจ้าไปยังดาวศุกร์ และคาดว่าโลกจะเป็นเป้าหมายต่อไป? NOAA พยากรณ์ว่ามีความน่าจะเป็นประมาณ 30% ที่จะเกิด การระเบิด คลาส M ใน 24 ชั่วโมงข้างหน้า และคิดว่าจุดดับ 1356 นี้จะเป็นตัวที่ก่อให้เกิดการระเบิดนี้

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep_1CjVd-tc"]Special Alert! Asteroid 2011 WP4 - Condition Code 8!! - YouTube[/ame]

NASA just discovered Asteroid 2011 WP4 on Nov 18, 2011 (Close Approach is Nov 24, 2011). Folks, NASA just discovered it 2 days ago, and they've labeled this asteroid as a condition code 8 (which means a high uncertainty of its orbit). Plus, the JPL site doesn't show the physical size of this asteroid. Are they purposely holding back the size of this object from the public? Well, I sure hope not.

Asteroid 2011 WP4 (and no size listed at the moment!)

ANTARCTIC SOLAR ECLIPSE: On Nov. 25th the Moon will pass in front of the sun, slightly off-center, producing a partial solar eclipse visible from Antarctica, Tasmania, and parts of South Africa and New Zealand. Maximum coverage occurs about 100 miles off the coast of Antarctica where the sun will appear to be a slender 9% crescent. [animated map]

I have laid out historically what happens every time a solar or lunar eclipse occurs. It is not good news, especially when it occurs during the US holidays between Nov. to Jan. Historically, large natural events occur just prior to, or closely after an eclipse event.
But there is some good news. The Nov. 25th event is a "partial" solar eclipse of which studies show there appears to be a quantitative factor. In other words - the larger the eclipse, the greater the effect on Earth.
A "total" Lunar eclipse follows next month on December 10th which history suggest could be present a greater intensity than Nov. 25th's solar event. What has happened in the past, and I predict will happen next and in the future, is for a large magnitude earthquake to occur within 14 days of either-side of eclipse events. This could also take the form of a volcano, hurricane, or tsunami.

My research suggest it is not the gravitational pull to be the main cause of earth changing events, but the rapid cooling and heating which occurs during eclipse events. Yes, gravitational pull does apply regarding lunar events, but I believe it is "fluid displacement" caused by tide shifts, along with rapid cooling and heating which is the majority cause of tectonic shifts.
Regarding solar events, this too, is caused by rapid heating and cooling, but more specific to solar, I believe magnetic flux also plays a major role on Earth's core, which in-turn causes a significant shift in ocean and jet stream currents as well as tectonic plates.

    History of Solar Eclipse: http://bit.ly/uW3uyh
This is the fourth and final solar eclipse of the year and will occur at the Moon's ascending *node in western Scorpius. The event is visible from high latitudes in the Southern Hemisphere and includes southern South Africa, Antarctica, Tasmania and most of New Zealand.
At the instant of greatest eclipse (06:20:17 UT) the eclipse magnitude is 0.905, making it the largest partial eclipse of the year. At that time, the lunar shadow axis will pass just 330 km above Earth's surface near the coast of Antarctica.
This is the 53rd eclipse of **Saros 123. The family began with 6 partial eclipses from the years 1074 to 1164. By the time the series ends in 2318, it will have produced 70 eclipses in the following order: 6 partial, 27 annular, 3 hybrid, 14 total, and 20 partial eclipses.
*Node: The points where the lunar orbit intersects the plane of Earth's orbit are known as the nodes. The Moon's orbit is inclined about 5 degrees to Earth's orbit around the Sun. The Moon moves from south to north of Earth's orbit at the ascending node, and from north to south at the descending node.
**Saros 123 Cycle: The periodicity and recurrence of solar eclipses is governed by the Saros cycle, a period of approximately 6,585.3 days (18 years 11 days 8 hours). When two eclipses are separated by a period of one Saros, they share a very similar geometry. The two eclipses occur at the same node with the Moon at nearly the same distance from Earth and at the same time of year. Thus, the Saros is useful for organizing eclipses into families or series.

Mitch Battros presents fascinating, and sometimes shocking, research from the world's top scientists. After years of dialogue with these experts, Mitch has been accepted into the guarded halls of NASA, NOAA, ESA, Royal Observatory, the US Naval Observatory and other highly esteemed scientific bodies. In addition to the latest research on the Sun's influence on our "weather".

Mitch also presents ground-breaking evidence of how the Sun and other celestial orbs produce 'charged particles' and their impact on humanity.

Just as the Sun's solar activity affects the Earth's magnetic field which has a dramatic affect on Earth's "weather" i.e. earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, hurricanes; so does this wave of electrical currents affect the human body's magnetic field. Mitch also reveals a little-known development from modern medicine known as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS provides empirical evidence of how magnetic fields can influence human emotions.

Solar Cycle 24 has begun - and it has been predicted by NASA, NOAA and ESA to be up to 50% stronger than its 'record breaking' predecessor Cycle 23 which produced the largest solar flare ever recorded. The Sun will reach its 'apex' (maximum) in late 2011 into 2012.

"I believe it will be the magnetic influence produced by the Sun which will usher in what is described by our ancient ancestors as "the transition" bringing us to a new state-of-being". (Mitch Battros)

<table width="400" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"> <tbody><tr> <td>[IMG]</td> </tr> </tbody></table> January 2001 - (India) A magnitude 7.6 earthquake shook the Indian Province of Gujarat. It was one of the two most deadly earthquakes to strike India in its recorded history. The death toll was 19,727, number of injured at 166,000, over 600,000 people were left homeless, with 348,000 houses destroyed and an additional 844,000 damaged.
May 2003 - (Turkey) At least 176 people have died and 521 people were injured after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake that shook the eastern Turkey's Bingöl province. Several public buildings collapsed in the centre of Bingöl city and its vicinity. The last official report concerning the consequences of the earthquake in the city indicates about 570 buildings were collapsed and about 6000 others were damaged.
November 17th 2003 - (Alaska) One of the largest earthquakes in US history measuring 7.8 magnitude at Rat Island, Alaska.
October 2004 - (Japan) A series of powerful earthquakes the strongest with a magnitude of 6.7 jolted northern Japan, killing at least 30 people and injuring more than 2000 people largely as the result of building collapse.
March 6th 2007 - (Sumatra) Two quakes hit Sumatra measuring 6.4 and 6.3. Over 60 fatalities and 460 serious injuries have been reported, spread across many towns and regencies in West Sumatra. Over 43,000 houses were damaged, with over 12,000 of those severely damaged.
August 15th 2007 - (Peru) Earthquake measuring 7.4 magnitude killed more than 600 people and thousands more were injured.
February 21st 2008 - (Indonesia) A powerful 7.4 earthquake in Indonesia killed three people and injured 25 today, but did not trigger a tsunami.
December 21st 2010 - (Tokyo) Residents of southern Japanese islands scrambled to community centers early Wednesday when a strong offshore quake briefly triggered a tsunami alert, but the 7.4-magnitude temblor prompted only a mild swelling of waves. There were no immediate reports of damage from the quake,
December 25th 2010 - (Vanuatu Islands) A 7.6-magnitude earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean's Vanuatu Islands region early Sunday, prompting a tsunami warning for the area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
January 1st 2011 - (Argentina) A magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck a rural area of northern Argentina Saturday morning, but its epicenter was so deep that it gave only a light shake to towns nearby. It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries or damage, but the earthquake was hardly felt in Santiago del Estero, the provincial capital, where Emilio Abdala, a receptionist at the 14-story Hotel Casino Carlos V, told The Associated Press that nobody felt a thing.
June 13th 2011 - (Christchurch, New Zealand) A series of powerful tremors rattled the quake-prone New Zealand city of Christchurch on Monday, destroying buildings and sending boulders tumbling down hillsides nearly four months after a quake killed 181 people.

QUIET BEAUTY: With more than half a dozen spots scattered across the face of the sun, the sunspot number is high. Nevertheless, solar activity remains low. None of the sun's so-called "active regions" are actually producing flares. The starscape, meanwhile, is as beautiful as ever. On Nov. 22nd, Robert Arnold took these pictures from his private observatory on the Isle of Skye, Scotland:

    สวยเงียบ: กับจุดดับที่มากกว่าครึ่งโหลกระจายเต็มหน้าดวงอาทิตย์ จำนวนจุดดับสูง. ถึงอย่างไรก็ตามยังไม่ค่อยมีปฏิกิริยา ไม่มีพื้นที่ไหนที่จะเรียกว่า พื้นที่ที่ active แล้วกำลังจะทำให้เกิด flare
    [IMG]
"The sun is criss-crossed with magnetic filaments and plasma clouds," says Arnold. "It's a beautiful view."
Readers with solar telescopes, don't let the quiet fool you. Today is a good day for sun-stronomy.
